If dogs are indeed a man’s best friend, then it makes sense why the family-friendly TV show Bluey has become such a beloved form of entertainment among young kids (and parents, too!) these days. After all, who doesn’t enjoy watching a lovable, cute, animated dog embark on new and exciting adventures with her family and friends? It’s a great way to pass the time, and many kiddos seem to agree. And since you can never have too much of a good thing, many of you are probably wondering when your family can stream more Bluey. Well, buck up: 10 brand-new Season 3 episodes are slated to drop on Disney+ very soon.

Following a rather prolonged pause between the initial September 2021 Season 3 premiere and a surprise drop in July 2023, another batch of Bluey goodness is on the way. According to Disney+, the new episodes “showcase the joyful simplicity that can be found in families turning everyday events of family life — like making a cubby house (blanket fort) or a trip to the beach — into unique adventures that bring to life how children learn and grow through play.”

Here’s a helpful rundown of everything you need to know about when new Bluey will make its way to our screens.

What is Bluey about?

Bluey follows the adventures of an adorable, inexhaustible, anthropomorphic blue heeler pup named Bluey. She lives with her mum, dad, and little sister Bingo in Brisbane. Bluey and Bingo often engage in imaginative play, and their parents? Well, let’s just say that they’re pretty darn relatable for cartoon dogs. (C’mon, who among us hasn’t played the “sleeping game” with our kids so we can get a little break?)

When will new Bluey Season 3 episodes be available in the U.S.?

Disney+ decided to gift everyone with a little early holiday present in December by announcing that, come Jan. 12, 2024, 10 all-new episodes of the hit series will be available in the U.S. and around the world via the streamer.

What is Season 3 about?

The series will continue to center around Bluey’s various fun-filled adventures and the many friends that get made along the way.

Want specific details about the storylines? You got it. Keep reading for descriptions of the new episodes slated to drop in January 2024:

  • Exercise” – Bingo pretends to be Boss Bluey’s new employee in the middle of Dad’s backyard workout.

What’s next for Bluey?

Although Bluey Season 4 hasn’t been given an official release date yet, fans will have more Bluey to look forward to — the previously announced first-ever Bluey special, “The Sign,” will premiere globally on Disney+ later in 2024.

Who is returning for Season 3?

All of your familiar favorites will be back, including Bluey’s sister, Bingo, Bluey’s dad, Bandit, Bluey’s mom, Chilli, and Bluey’s best friend, Chloe, to name just a few. The show has also enlisted some fun guest stars throughout its run, so you can probably expect to see a few of those pop up as well. One example of an exciting guest? Steve Irwin’s teenage son Robert Irwin.

Is this real life?! Yup.
