Travis Kelce Is Reportedly Throwing Taylor Swift A Birthday Bash To Remember

Today is a very important day. Today, 34 years ago, Taylor Alison Swift was born. The world would never be the same. As Swifties know, Swift’s birthday is a special day for her. Her favorite number is 13 (the date today, duh), and she’s often referenced bummer birthdays from her past in her songs (Jake Gyllenhall, you suck).

Well today, Swift’s birthday fate in the hands of her new beau, Travis Kelce, who is reportedly planning to pull out all the stops for girlfriend Taylor Swift’s birthday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is looking to host “the best party possible” for the 12-time Grammy winner, according to Us Weekly, where the source also confirmed that when it comes to making Swift’s 34th trip around the sun, “money is no object.”

“Travis wants to throw the best party possible. Money is not an object and he wants her close friends [there],” the insider told the outlet.

A second source claims that the NFL superstar will be throwing the bash in New York City where Taylor has been hanging out when she’s not on tour or at Kelce’s residence in Kansas City.

In a recent Person of the Year profile with Time Magazine, the “Bejeweled” birthday girl opened up about her romance with Kelce, surprising everyone with her candid nature. Swift has typically been closed-lipped about her love life, letting her songs do the talking.

"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," Swift said. "We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

She added, "When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care…The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other."

Kelce spoke with The Wall Street Journal, sharing his own tidbits about their blooming romance, saying he’s "never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them.”

"I’ve never dealt with it,” Kelce added of Swift. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it.... The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”

He said that spending time getting to know Swift has been eye-opening, admitting, “I’ve never been a man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f**cking mind-blowing. I’m learning every day."

If these two don’t go the distance...I will not be okay.

Before Kelce and Swift went on their respective press shoutouts to each other, they were being a bit more coy with their love.

In November, Kelce flew down to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to watch Swift perform her Eras Tour, and Swift pulled out all the stops for her rumored boyfriend’s guest appearance.

First, she chose to sing her Reputation hit “End Game” during the acoustic set (a song many have turned into the couple’s anthem), then she changed the lyrics of “Karma” to “Karma is that guy on the Chiefs / Coming straight home to me.”

However, the most romantic moment of the evening came after the show had ended. Fans captured video footage of Swift waving to the audience as she made her exit from stadium until she spotted Kelce waiting in the wings. She ran straight into his arms for a kiss. *Cue the entire world freaking the f*ck out.*

Since this tour started, the romantic life of Swift has been a roller coaster — starting with the end of her 7-year-long relationship with Joe Alwyn, to that weird thing with Matty Healy from The 1975. Now, fans are just so happy that she seems happy!

As one X user tweeted, “She started this tour with a breakup and she’s now on top of the world, happy in love and feeling comfortable being open about her happiness.”

Other words of affirmation came from moms who were thankful to see a role model like Swift publicly show how a healthy relationship can work for every single generation of women.

“I don’t care if this sounds middle-aged mom-ish but Taylor Swift is teaching generations of women — from Z to X — what it looks like to have a partner who shows up for you, and Travis Kelce is demonstrating how to be that partner. I suspect this is something she’s now also teaching herself, which is what makes it even better. 😍,” one Threads user wrote.

One user replied to that sentiment and said, “I’m a golden grandma and I’m still looking for a man that looks at me the way Travis looks at Taylor.”

And it’s true! Clip after clip will show a T+T doubter that the beginnings of this romance are just so sweet, with Kelce really working to get Swift’s attention.

Back in July, Kelce attended one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts and said that he tried to meet her before or after the show, but he found out that she isn’t doing meet-and-greets for this tour.

“I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said in a episode of the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with his brother, all-pro Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Jason immediately asked his younger brother for an explanation.

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets handed out. I received a bunch of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Kelce said.

Jason asked if Travis was referring to 87, his uniform number with the Chiefs, or his phone number.

“You know which one,” Travis responded slyly.

Parents and moms also weighed in on the budding romance between Swift and Kelce, sharing that they don’t mind all the publicity or TikTok videos being fed to them (and their kids) constantly.

One mom even feels thankful that Kelce’s wooing has been so popular in mainstream media showing that he is the walking definition of, “if he wanted to, he would.”
